Seitai massage by Ken
About Seitai Massage
The Japanese word SEITAI means to "put the body in order”.
A Seitai treatment involves treating the patient as a whole rather than targeting individual symptoms. This is because as one starts to understand the body, the causes of such symptoms, such as a stiff shoulder, may be due to overeating, nervous or physical fatigue, poisoning, or a combination of each. Seitai treatment is able to assess a patient’s body and bring out its natural healing powers.
Some common conditions that Seitai may be able to help with are:
- Stiff shoulder and frozen shoulder
- Back pains
- Headaches and migraines
- Joint pains (knees, shoulders)
- Stress, fatigue and tiredness
- Sport related injuries
- Trying to conceive and postpartum care
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
Fee per session: € 50
I treat patients on a case by case basis; some treatments take longer than others. For this reason, there is no fixed time for a treatment, however, each session takes 30 minutes in average.
Ken is a qualified Seitai masseur who has been practicing Seitai treatment for more than 20 years. In 2011 he was appointed as an accredited Seitai instructor in Japan.
